The rise of the button back boot is indeed exciting. Especially after last season's introduction of such not-quite-so-exciting editions such as the purse-shoe.
But the rise of over-the-knee boots? I feel that that's not quite as fashion-savvy. Too many people can wear that trend entirely wrong, and it brings to mind Sailor Moon-esque wardrobes. Especially if mixed with other not-so-fashion-savvy trends as the bubble skirt.
Of course, I may just be biased towards booties.
hahahah I totally see what your saying about the over the knee boot! It also can have the potential to look a little trashy depending on how you wear it. Rocking some trends defintely take more thought then others.
And no that is totally not a biased thought towards the boots =)
i'm a fan of the over the knee boot--but only for those blessed with long legs! i'm a shortie and i've tried the over the knee look and it just does not work for me! sooo sad :(
Besides, have you ever tried to take OFF an over the knee boot?
I have enough problems with my Minnetonka's, and they're only mid-calf.
